Terms of Service
Effective July 4, 2026
These terms are an agreement between Dookr and the business or person who creates a Dookr account (“you”). By creating an account or using Dookr, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to do so.
The service
Dookr provides software for running a pooper-scooper business: scheduling and routing, a field-tech app, a public business page with a quote form, and automatic billing of your customers. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and operating a business in the United States. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Fees and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly at the plan’s base rate plus any per-customer fee shown on our pricing page.
- Dookr also retains a 0.5% platform fee on payments you collect through the service.
- You can change plans at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and we do not prorate — you simply move to the new rate.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes, which are your responsibility where they apply. Card processing is performed by Stripe at its standard rates.
Payments between you and your customers
Dookr uses Stripe (including Stripe Connect) to let your customers pay you. The agreement to provide service, the price, and any refunds or disputes are between you and your customer. Dookr is not a party to that transaction; we provide the tools that move the money. You are responsible for delivering the services your customers pay for and for handling their refunds, chargebacks, and complaints.
Your responsibilities
- Use Dookr only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable law.
- Have the necessary consent before contacting your customers, and comply with the rules that govern calls, texts, and email (including do-not-contact and quiet-hours rules).
- Keep your customer information accurate and up to date.
- Not misuse the service — no abuse, interference, reverse engineering, or unlawful content.
Your data and content
You own the business and customer data you put into Dookr. You grant us the limited license needed to host, process, and display that data to operate the service for you and to provide support. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Public page and leads
Your public page is visible on the internet. You are responsible for the content you publish there and for how you follow up with the leads it generates.
Intellectual property
Dookr and its software, design, and brand are owned by us. These terms do not give you any right to our intellectual property except the right to use the service as intended.
Third-party services
Dookr relies on third parties — including Stripe, Supabase, Mapbox, Resend, and PostHog — to deliver the service. Your use of features that depend on them is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Dookr will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify Dookr against claims arising from your use of the service, your content, your relationships with your customers, or your violation of these terms or the law.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that creates risk. On termination, your right to use the service ends; the sections that by their nature should survive will survive.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and our business evolve. We will revise the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice in-app or by email. Continuing to use Dookr after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Dookr is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The specific venue will be confirmed in the counsel-reviewed release of these terms.
